I also know that in most states, if the winner of a primary drops out, the law says the political party selects a replacement however they choose.
But then again, I also understand that primaries are basically a courtesy. Political parties are private entities, not part of the government. They are free to choose candidates however they like.
I know these things because I am not poorly educated. Trump loves the poorly educated.
